瑜伽的艺术与生活 Y o g i c A r t & L i f e

Dear Yogis and Yoginis and friends,

As i am reflecting what has been keeping me writing, a very direct and simple answer comes into my mind. It is, when i open up myself to writing and sharing, my love for you, for yoga and for life just increases. I MAY NOT KNOW A LOT OF YOU, BUT I KNOW A LOT ABOUT YOU. Through the purification system of yoga, we can widen our understandings and discover more and more similarities of the inner layers of all human beings and all life. As individuals our difference is but the variety of unlimited flowers growing in the same soil of the garden of Divine Nature. We need the same sun shine, water and fresh air to survive and feel secure. We are same and at same time different from each other, and that's the beauty and wonder of The Creator. Through self-study, svadhyaya, we can understand the core needs and desire of all spiritual beings, through self-discipline we tune our self into the Universal Compassion and Love and thus become harmonic with everything and everyone.

Yoga is, anyway, too abstract indeed to many of us. It is meant and designed for everyone but not anyone and everyone will embrace it or understand it. The "Click" comes from many many endeavor and accumulations in the past storage of consciousness and subconsciousness. When i first encountered yoga, i felt i suddenly pick up or remembered a beautiful dream that had been lost for life times. i felt i was picking myself up, piece by piece from the floor of an ancient house. Let's say it in this way, yoga IS abstract, but yoga is something really intense and deep and even sweet that we can not resist despite its abstractness. However,  when we are fortunate enough to meet real yogis, and somehow get close to their hearts, then yoga is not at all abstract, at least to them. This my personal experience with many true yogis. It becomes a day to day practice. It becomes practical. It makes sense in every field of your life. It makes you see. It explained everything, why people are like that and why things are like that. And most important thing is, why you are like this and then you know, the tools for transformation have been there for so many thousands of  years. You know the task and the equipments are at hand. This is the moment you see what yoga means to you, what others and books say about yoga is not that important now because you know you are the one to (or not to) make a change in your life, the rest are but techniques or tools, and you will be clearer and clearer later when you go deeper into the path and forest of consciousness. So what are you waiting for? It's time for explorations. It's time for something new in life. Let's get serious. After drinking this last cup of  tea of your false ego, you can let go the burden of the past and move in and through the sun and rain of  yoga, for future and forever.
