What is the Identity of the soul?

Text 6
Sri Jamata Muni teaches:
“The soul is not a demigod, not a human being, not a animal, not an unmoving plant, not the material body, not the senses, not the mind, not the life breath, and not the intelligence.
Text 7
“The soul is not made of matter, nor is he subject to the changes matter imposes. His knowledge is not limited to the perception of the material world. He is conscious. He is all pervading within the material body. He is self-manifest. He has His own original spiritual form, which is full of spiritual knowledge and bliss.
Text 8
“He is an individual person, different from other persons. He is atomic in size. He is eternally pure. In his original spiritual nature he is a knower, a doer, and an enjoyer. Eternally he is a part and parcel of the Supreme Personality of Godhead——the Supreme Soul.”
Text 9
In his commentary, Sri Ramanuja Acarya gives the same explanation. In this way the idea that the individual soul is a demigod or other kind of material identity within his material world is clearly rejected. This idea is also rejected in the following words of Srimad-Bhagavatam (11.3.39), which I have previously quoted in Sri Tattva-sandarbha:
In Anuccheda 45
Text 1
In another place in this book (anuccheda 19), Sri Jamata Muni has described the nature of the individual spirit soul. The soul’s nature is also described in these three verses of Srimad- Bhagavatam (3.25.16-18):
Text 2
“When one is completely cleansed of the impurities of lust and greed produced from the false identification of the body as ‘I’ and bodily possessions as ‘mine’, one’s mind becomes purified. In that state he transcends the state of so-called material happiness and distress.*
Text 3
“At that time the soul can see himself to be transcendental to material existence and always self-effulgent, never fragmented, although very minute in size.*
Text 4
“In that position of self-realization, by practice of knowledge and renunciation in devotional service, one sees everything in the right perspective. He becomes indifferent to material existence, and the material influence acts less powerfully upon him.”
From Jiva Goswami's Sad Sandarbha
Comment: We don't HAVE soul, we ARE soul. Soul is my down-to-earth identity. i am that soul that's why i am ALWAYS alive. And when i say i am a soul i mean i am an individual, eternally, pure or impure, in liberation or bandage, experiencing the bliss of the soul or the illusion of the false ego. The individual false ego can only be built up around the individual soul, because only when you have substance then there can be shadow. Only when there is such a thing like hand, then there is such a thing like glove. This is the case for all the atomic soul, and that's what makes us alike. We are all leaf of the same tree, but none of us are exactly the same.
The Supreme Soul is the whole tree, and that is an individual, too. The Supreme Soul is the origin of individuality, and that's why we are all individual. That is why life is beautiful: the variety.
Spiritual soul who lives in small self or false ego is thinking in a dream state (Maya), "i am this body and mind, i am happy when my body and mind are happy, i am suffering when my body and mind are suffering". In this way the soul is disconnected with other soul and the Supreme Soul. That is an illusion.
Spiritual soul who lives in true identity, however, is freed from that limitation and awakened and realized it's spiritual nature in the light of the Supreme Soul. There is a mystic connection between the TREE and it's every single leaf. That connection is YOGA.

I got a little confused, “He is an individual person, different from other persons. He is atomic in size. He is eternally pure. " How can one's soul be eternally pure when he is different from others? May I understand your article in this way: we all have two kinds of soul, one is the individual soul and the other is the Supreme Soul, the former is full of the impurities of lust and greed produced from the false identification of the body as ‘I’ which makes it different from other persons; while the latter is eternally pure and self-manifest, and the former belongs to the latter?

My understanding is: we are like a jewlery, but covered by the stain and dust. We take this stained jewlery as "we" because we are in the dust of unawareness. If the dust is cleaned through our practice(YOGA,Meditation), we will again be what we actually are.
